SoberState is an event concept designed for an Event Marketing course during my senior year at the University of West Alabama. While not a real event, I built SoberState from the ground up with a full brand kit, extensive market research, and a full digital marketing plan.
Bridging a gap in the recovery community
SoberState was envisioned to fill a gap in recovery and sober lifestyle events, bringing together the recovery community for far more than just an awareness walk or resource fair. With mainstream artists and speakers handpicked for their connection to sobriety, recovery, and wellness, SoberState is a lifestyle festival meant to make a statement. SoberState was built to spread the message that sobriety isn’t boring.
The event includes headlining musical acts and speakers, a 5K color run, food trucks, a mocktail bar, a resource road, and interactive wellness activations.
