Stay Free Ministries Logo Evolution

The starting point
When Stay Free Ministries was founded in 2020, this logo was chosen to represent the heart of the ministry. While it held deep meaning and was well recognized in the local community, it lacked originality, scalability, and consistency across platforms.

Refinement & respect
A cleaner version of the heart cross mark was introduced by a previous brand director. I did not design this, but its role in the brand’s evolution was important as it offered familiarity while opening the door to a more cohesive and intentional visual identity.

Building a full identity
I developed a complete brand system that introduces modern typography, secondary logos, a branded color palette, and scalable assets. By blending the legacy mark with fresh elements, we created a custom identity that feels both authentic to SFM and professional.
SFM Logo & Variations
A request from leadership when updating the branding was to include an “SFM” logo for casual use on social media, apparel, swag items, etc. The community has used “Stay Free Ministries” and “SFM” interchangeably. I created a very simple, badge-style logo that leans into simplicity, and a version that is a little more unique. I also created color variations of the main logotype to use on various materials.

The Ark: Kids Church Branding
I developed the ark logo and brand marks, as well as the entire visual system. The color palette is rainbow, but incorporates 5 out of 7 colors directly from the SFM palette. The inclusion of the gradient, colors, and fonts make this brand identity feel cohesive with SFM while still standing out on it’s own.
